Seve Wada fell in love with guitar at a young age. When he reached high school, he began seriously playing and practicing. It was here when he realized that he wanted to pursue music as a career and knew that the guitar would be a part of his life forever.
After high school, Seve attended and graduated from Musicians Institute in Hollywood Ca where he earned an Associates of Arts degree in guitar performance. He then began studying jazz guitar and was accepted into San Diego State University’s Jazz Studies program where he earned a Bachelor’s in music degree.
Since then, he has taught guitar lessons at Sam Ash in San Diego and has become the lead guitarist for Evan Diamond (San Diego Music Awards winner for best singer songwriter and best pop artist). Evan along with Seve, won a battle of the bands contest and were awarded a slot to perform at Del Mar’s huge Kaboo music festival. He has also performed with Evan at multiple famous San Diego venues which includes Petco Park, and the Casbah. He can be heard playing guitar on Evans newest EP titled "Why Don't You Sit Down". Seve has been featured multiple times on the well-known Masters of Shred Instagram page where his posts have gained thousands of views.
Seve is also the lead guitarist for Superweapon, a heavy metal band which he formed with San Diego’s famous horror/ Sci-Fi author Scott Sigler who serves as the band’s bassist and vocalist. Seve and Scott have already released three music videos on YouTube, an Ep, multiple other singles on Spotify, and a band website within a years time . Multiple online articles have been written about Superweapon. Both Evan Diamond and Superweapon have been nominated for San Diego Music Awards 2022. Evan Diamond for best pop artist and Superweapon for best rock song.
